What I bring to the role of City Councillor: 

  • 25 years experience with B.C. government natural resource agencies and with Indigenous governments. 

  • Collaborative problem-solving, relationship building, governance, engagement, administration, organizational and communication skills.

  • Experience in public sector policy, planning, partnerships and natural resource stewardship.

  • Registered Professional Forester (RPF) from 1994-2021. UBC BSc in Forest Science.

  • Currently serving on the Board of Directors  of the: Economic Trust of the Southern Interior(ETSI-BC);  Kimberley SPARK Youth Centre;  Kimberley Seniors Project Society; The EK Climate Hub, and am on the BC Municipal Climate Leaders Steering Committee and Provincial Committee on Economy and Environment.

  • Am a volunteer adaptive ski instructor with EK Adapative Snowsports Society.

  • Am committed to a healthy environment, community and economy!

  • I lived rurally for 30 years until choosing Kimberley in 2021.   My sons live in Kimberley as well.  It's my home and I'm passionate about it.

  • I serve as Chair of the East Kootenay Climate Hub, a citizen-driven non-partisan network that participates in planning and policy development and engages with elected leaders and community on advancing climate resilience to lift up the good work underway. Facebook and Eastkootenayclimatehub.ca.
